This project was undertaken as an advanced Specialist Diploma in Urban Design, as part of my Bachelor of Architecture Masters Degree. This postgraduate diploma in Urban Design was achieved as a separate qualification to the Masters programme.
Having begun this project with the expectations of producing a master plan as a means of redeveloping an inner-city vacant site, and by implementing ideas suggested from the city-wide master plan, this project has achieved a blueprint for the development of a business innovation park. This office complex is firstly, a generator of business opportunities for the local area, and also, as a development of the notion of a more open and interlinked approach to office design, to encourage social interaction.
