This project followed a year long process that was born out of a series of experiments that centered on the notion of movement within the architectural realm. It was through the need to express qualities found through the expression of movement, within an inherent static physical space, such as a building, that was the inspiration behind this project.
It was through the analysis and interpretation of how qualities and the notion of movement were expressed with the world of art, more specifically, Marcel Duchamp, that formed the fundamental basis of what would structure my design process.
