My final design project of my masters degree (Bachalor of Architecture), undertaken at the Hull School of Architecture, England, 2002, is also entered into this years RIBA Silver Medal Award Part 2 Design, for more details visit: presidentsmedals
This project consists of one full years worth of study, which was spread across 2 semesters. The first semester was concerned with the development of a master plan strategy for the redevelopment of Hull, England. And while developing a through and rigorous strategy for the city centre, we also focused on one particular area of the city that would take the form of a more detailed master plan, that was developed in the second semester of the programme.
While there is both an overall strategy for the entire city centre area, and a more detailed analysis and proposal for one identified location, the entire project development from both semesters are displayed in a single, continuous timeline. This timeline portrays the evolution of the urban design project, from the city-wide, to the location specific.
